Comic Relief appears to be teasing something Oasis-related for its 2025 Red Nose Day show, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 21.
Red Nose Day is back for another year, coming as Comic Relief is planning to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Today (March 15), Comic Relief posted a cryptic image on Instagram, depicting the date March 21, 2025, in the font and style of the Oasis logo.
The Red Nose Day TV show will take place on Friday, March 21 and will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 7pm.

Fans have taken to Reddit to speculate what the Comic Relief Oasis link could be. “I imagine it’ll be a sketch with actors playing Liam and Noel,” one user wrote.
“I could see Oasis popping up and playing a couple of tunes. Considering Liam does stuff for Dog charities and Noel has done Teenage Cancer Trust and Warchild stuff it’s not like they’re opposed to doing charity related stuff,” another posted.
Others think it may be a mix of both. One user wrote: “I imagine this is just a Kevin and Perry sketch but just thinking about Noel and Liam walking on for a five second cameo at the end is making the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. Comic Relief certainly has me as a viewer this year!”

In other Oasis-related news, the band announced a reunion tour film titled Live ’25, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. No release date or further details have been released yet, but the Oasis tour film will be distributed by Sony Music Vision.
Earlier this month, sources close to the upcoming Oasis reunion tour revealed details of who’ll be playing in the band line-up to NME. They said Andy Bell will be on bass, Gem Archer and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs on guitar, and Joey Waronker is set to be on drums.
The band recently reissued their fourth album ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ to mark its 25th anniversary, and engaged in a brief chart battle with Kendrick Lamar after the vinyl re-release of classic single ‘Whatever’ threatened to take the Number One spot after 31 years.
Oasis are nominated for this year’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame alongside the likes of New Order, The White Stripes and Mariah Carey, but Liam continues to maintain that the honour is “for wankers“.
