Christian Nodal has postponed his Pa’l Cora Tour show set for Aug. 14 in Buenos Aires, Fenix Entertainment Group confirmed to Billboard Argentina. The show’s producer did not immediately provide details or announce a new date for the show.
Rumors of a cancellation had spread quickly on social media when the event disappeared from the official website of the Movistar Arena, the venue where the concert was to be held, and ticket sales were disabled. The announcement of the concert on Movistar Arena’s Instagram account, posted in mid-June, was also deleted from the account.
Nodal has yet to make an official statement on postponing the show. Billboard reached out to his rep but did not hear back at press time.
Nodal’s show in Argentina stirred up the internet, with some calling for a boycott of his show after Nodal announced in May that his relationship with Argentine hitmaker Cazzu, also the mother of his daughter Inti, had come to an end after two years of dating. The couple also lived together for some time in Argentina, where their daughter was born in September.
Last week, Nodal married Mexican music star Ángela Aguilar in a private ceremony.
According to Nodal’s official website, his next concert is set for San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Aug. 23. He’ll perform three back-to-back shows in the island’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico. He’ll then make a stop in Panamá before officially kicking off his Pa’l Cora U.S. Tour on Sept. 11 in Seattle. See the dates here.
