Beyoncé officially kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour in California last night (April 28), check out what she played below.
The singer commenced the tour for her most recent album ‘Cowboy Carter‘, her ode to country which dropped last March.
Playing at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, Beyoncé played a whopping 36 songs across 2hours and 45minutes, with most songs coming from ‘Cowboy Carter’. Opening with ‘American Requiem’, she gave ‘Bodyguard’, ‘II Most Wanted’, ’16 Carriages’ and more their live debuts last night.
She also performed her covers of The Beatles‘ ‘Blackbird’ and Dolly Parton‘s ‘Jolene’. Beyoncé also played several remixes of cuts from the dance-inspired album ‘Renaissance‘, and interpolated several of her greatest hits from her lengthy career.

Like the ‘Renaissance’ tour, fans were also in awe over Beyoncé’s dramatic staging.
One shared footage of the singer introducing the song ‘YA YA’ by smoking a cigar and setting a piano alight, proclaiming: “SHE’S FCKING INSANE”. Beyoncé would also go on to fly mid-air on a car through the stadium during ’16 Carriages’:
